Alicia Joins Start Young UK as Treasurer

Start Young UK is delighted to welcome Alicia Sierra Fernández as our new Treasurer. With over a decade of experience in financial management and strategic planning, Alicia brings invaluable expertise to our Board of Trustees.

A Chartered Accountant (ACCA), Alicia currently serves as a Senior Consultant and Financial Controller at Deloitte, where she specializes in budgeting, forecasting, and financial governance. Her career has spanned major financial and project management roles at Deloitte, Dragados S.A., and BDO Spain, where she has led financial operations, managed multi-million-pound budgets, and improved financial efficiencies.

Alicia’s strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proactive approach will be instrumental in ensuring the financial sustainability of Start Young UK as we continue to expand our support for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
