Today, we gathered an incredible group of young people for our Thrive SYUK Vision Board event, giving them the space to dream big, set goals, and shape their futures. It was a session filled with creativity, ambition, and plenty of inspiring (and sometimes hilarious) moments.
The session encouraged them to reflect on their futures, what they want to learn, where they want to go, and who they want to become. From personal affirmations to career aspirations, they put their ambitions onto paper, creating powerful visual roadmaps for success.
As we moved into the showcase, the room came alive with excitement. Each young person stood up and proudly shared their vision for the future. The results? A strong lineup of future footballers, actors, and—most impressively—a whole squad of aspiring doctors. The NHS is in for a treat!
It was a heartwarming reminder that when young people are given the tools and encouragement to dream, they dream without limits. Their confidence, creativity, and determination were truly inspiring.
A huge thank you to all our volunteers for joining us this afternoon and to Bukola and Marilyn for organising such an impactful afternoon. The future is bright, and we can’t wait to see these young people turn their dreams into reality!
